correct dvd navigation structure using dvdfab 0.17 (old freeware version if you can locate it on the web).

Or try IFO Edit and PGC Edit.

I don't mean to be rude, but that could be any DVD for all we know, and it's almost impossible for us to make heads or tails out of that info alone. Is it possible to list every single file you have, either in text or by taking a screenshot like this one here ?

There's a guide here for taking screenshots
    If in doubt, Google it.

  13. If all you want is the main movie, it shouldn't be difficult.

    Method 1:

Get an old version of DVDShrink, v.2.3, here:
    http://www.mrbass.org/dvdshrink/dvdshrinkold/

Open the DVD, you'll probably get an error message. But you may still be able to select the main movie IFO, VTS_01_0.IFO. Reauthor, backup, done.

    Method 2:

Create a new folder, and inside make another folder, VIDEO_TS. Copy to the VIDEO_TS everything that starts with VTS_01_X.IFO/VOB/BUP. Open DVDFab 0.17.1, click "Create video manager (VIDEO_TS.IFO). Done, open with DVDShrink.

    Method 3:

Start Ifoedit, click Open, locate the VTS_01_0.IFO file. (From the looks of your files, that's the main movie titleset). Click VOB Extras. Under Options, make sure the only box checked is "Correct original IFO files". Click OK, click Save. Click Open again. Locate VIDEO_TS.IFO. Click "Get VTS Sectors", Ifoedit will ask if you want to process all IFO files. Yes. Now you should be able to reauthor in DVDShrink. This won't work for multi-angle movies!

    Method 4:

Dunno, haven't got around to using PGCEdit.

One of the above MIGHT work. If not, read some guides, cuz you're really in for it. :P
    Pull! Bang! Darn!

You will have to do one of the above before you can "shrink the disc.

    i have a similar problem:
a friend of mine asked me to extract he ac3 files from a music dvd he has, i tried ac3 tool and dvd audio extractor but ac3 tool stops working and dvd audio extractor says to try other disc.

when i open the dvd with shrink it says "invalid navigation"
tried to open with an older version but it stops after 10 seconds and displays following message"invalid nv_pck:nv_vobu_ea" and on the dvd shrink preview screen it stops at audio selection menu

i tried the ifo edit solution but when opening it with dvd shrink it says"invalid data in file VTS_01_0.vob, i played that vob with power dvd and that vob corersponds to audio selection menu.

the dvd plays fine on standalones dvd players.

i asked him what program he used and he says it wasnt him that backed it up and his original dvd is tooooo scratched to backup again.

I love it when a plan comes together!

i can use dvd decrypter to extract the ac3.
ifo mode select the chapter i want and select stream processing and demux ac3
takes a while but it works

just wondering why ac3 tool, dvd audio extractor and dvd shrink give those navigational errors and that brings me to what was being discussed here by masterMz and how to fix it.
I love it when a plan comes together!
