I assume you DO have a CD writer ????

Do you want this to be playable in a settop DVD player ?

Id so, does your DVD player support MiniDVD ? VCD/SVCD ? Raw MPEG ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

    I do have cd writer..
Yeah, I wanna play it on my dvd player (Philips dvp642)
It does support vcd/svcd and raw mpeg

p.s I tryied to burn the *.vob as SVCD with nero... The image was ok but there was no sound...
Same happens when I burn it as data, no sound...

  4. The Philips 642 supports MPG ISO. So just burn the .VOB file onto an ISO data CD. You might have to rename it .MPG.

    ok, an issue

That 1st vob I tryied worked good, image and sound.
Then I tryied a new one... Image was perfect, sound didn't work. Renamed to *.mpg, same happend: no sound..

So is it like "normal" to happen when ya burn vobs? Sum of em just dont work smoothly?

I'll try another vob and hit back with sum logs.... ty

ye ok, I tryied another .vob file...
image&sound are nice...(its stucked a bit on the begining, but i can ignore that, it was good overall)

So I guess I'll just have to burn and burn as much as I can so I can kinda identify a pattern why do sum vobs work great and some do not....

Maybe its the player that sux too, not sure of anything so far

    ty once again..

  8. I don't usually use CDs but I suspect the player may not spin them fast enough to read high bitrate VOB files smoothly.

I'm Not sure about the no-audio problem. You can always reencode the files to make standard MPEG files out of them. Using TMPGEnc for instance. Or you can use VirtualDubMPEG2 or VirtualDubMod to create Divx/Xvid AVI files.
