  1. Hello,

Could you please advise whether it would be wise purchasing the DMR-E100GCS (leaving budget aside), considering I need an international version (multi-system), region-free device, with a sufficiently large HDD (at least 80 GB), and which produces the BEST recording quality in terms of both picture and audio amongst most, if not all, devices for home use today.
I am mainly interested in transferring VHS tapes to DVD, DVD to DVD-RAM and to DVD-R, all with wonderful reliability, and, of course, recording from satellite and Cable TV straight to the built-in HDD at best possible quality. Moreover, I'd like to be able to have nearly perfect control over the edit of the HDD contents prior the actual burning (excluding any redundancies, commercials, etc, and, of course, adding interactive menus).

Any advice from your part would be most appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

    Best Regards,
    Yuval.

I'm not familiar with the Panasonic models, but also compare the Pioneer models that are available to you. They support DVD-RW instead of DVD-RAM, but have excellent editing features and high quality.

  3. I'd prefer using DVD-RAM. They have a bigger capacity, better reliability and over all manifest a better quality.
