AnyDVD only works in safe mode

I just finished building a new PC, XP Pro, Intel Dual Core P4, Intel MB, nVidia FX6600 video, Plextor PX-716A SATA model. I installed the latest Anydvd and CloneDVD2 which are registered versions. Clone produces the message that it does not backup copy protected DVD's. If I switch AnyDVD to safe mode it works but rip times are slower than usual. 25 - 40 minutes. Anyone else experience this problem? What does AnyDVD safe mode change to make it work?

There is probably a conflict between AnyDVD and the software\drivers installed on your PC.Safemode is used to get around this problem,thats why it works for you.
I'd contact Slysoft with an text email attachment with your PC's info,explaining the problem.They may find a solution.

You could use the freeware,EVEREST Home Edition.Click on Report>Report Wizard>Next>All Pages>Plain Text when finished Save to text file and attach to email.
