Having problems playing in ps2 and some dvd players

First off, your program is wonderfull. I'm loving it.

I've recently been burning music videos with vcd bitrate and then putting them all on a dvd.

I was getting like 80 vids on one dvd. the dvd's play fine in my car, but when I attempt to put them in a standalone dvd player, or a ps2 i'm having lots of problems


I'm using DVD+R disc, using nero to burn it. I'm not sure what the problem might be... Any help?

352 x 240 is my mpg size btw...thanks for all the help

I'm having problems posting up that log, it wont let me copy and paste it..do you have any suggestions?

Also, I didn't use the VTS function. Could that hae something to do with it? I have like 80 mpg files in one title set...do i need to create multiple titlesets?

I'm trying it again with pan and scan on. It's The option where it said players struggle to play, particulaurly pioneers...hopefully that will help.

didn't work =(..

well it will read in the ps2, but then it will just start skipping and pausing. Then in some standalone dvd players it's doing the same thing. Not sure what the deal is with it.

Do you have any suggestions as to what it might be? I encoded the video files with tmpeg..not sure where my problem is.

oh..i can't copy the log file, it wont high light and copy and paste..not sure of how to get a txt of the log...

There will be a log file of the run in the logs folder under where svcd2dvd is installed... Just email it to me.

Well that log is intersting. First there seems to be no VTS #1 (which is why it fails at the end) and there are several assets with non dvd compliant frame rates.

As there is no processing going on (they have been processed before) i can't see what the problem is.

How are you setting up the TitleSets? Have you got any info/logs for the initial processing of the files which give the following error: !!!: frame rate not dvd spec

i have a similar problem, i was givin this new digitor DVD player, not the most expensive im sure and it has problems playing some DVDs.

most recently i noticed the audio out of sync but when placed in my omni dvd player it was fine.

same with another movie had like glitches towards the end but in my omni it was smooth.

Is there anyway to make them more complient or do some players just have no hope..
