I haven't updated my ATI stuff in probably a year now. No point.

Right now, I am very happy with my durrent drivers. I haven't upgraded in probably a 8 months, maybe more. Are there any advantages or increases in quality associated with the new drivers?

  5. Since this version the "old" Control Center in the Display Properties is no longer supplied. You have to use the new Catalyst Control Center which requires the .NET runtime installed to work.

Apart from that I noticed an improved picture quality in my CRT TV (I have a PC exclusively for Home Theater, using a Radeon 9600 Pro). I don't know if it's because I have been able to adjust it better or what, but I'm getting better picture quality on S-Video output.

now ill just sit and wait for the next omega ones to appear.

that new control panel is shite too.god knows why they wanted to go this way,it was excellent the way it was.

S'funny - the official ATI drivers screw up my cursor. The Omega drivers work perfectly, and are faster.
