eliteyrx32 trojan troubles

My niece has this nasty trojan on her computer that has a popup message every minute showing,ive tried different virus scanners(trend and mcafee) and online trend and used highjackthis and adaware and cleaned out temp folders and this virus still reappears,its a trojan and lists in the registry run as eliteyrx32.

Anyone run across this yet?

naw.. i'm assuming Xp have u got system restore on just disable it and try 2 run ur spyware removal proggy's in safe mode that mite help

Searching on Google for "eliteyrx32" returns no results. I also searched Symantec in the hope that they'd have a removal tool for you, but they don't know about it.

Any idea what the virus is actually called?

I found a virus scanner that fixed the problem,avast was able to do a scan before windows fully booted and got rid of it,it was a trojan that was the hardest to get rid of.Hope this helps anybody else with nasty trojans and viruses.

I tried all the tricks before such as going into safemode and turning of system restore and cleaning out the run registry settings.

I found a whole bunch of Trojan nasties last few days. Managed to delete them with Nod 32. The only download I've done for ages though, is the latest DeCrypter from one of the mirror sites. Is it possible ? Anyone else downloaded DeCrypter and scanned for viruses ?
