WMP status bar

We had a commercial made and it was given to us on DVD.
I took and converted the commercials to Avi files.

They are big files. I embedded WMP and all works fine but depending on the version of WMP the status bar does not always show up.
On my home computer they do (I assume its 6.4 cuz it looks different even tho I have 9 on the computer). At work the WMP that comes up when you click the links is totally different which is fine except the status bar does not show up. Being such big files I want the status bar to be there. I have status bar value set to true and 1 for the pages.

So how do i get the status to show regardless of version if any one knows ?

Those Video's would still Look good if you were to compress them even Smaller,I'm On cable and it took more then 3 Mins to download.

Sorry cant help with the status Bar..
