Follwing the suggestion of our Australian memebr jimmalenko, I used IsoBuster to extract what I thought would be .mpeg files, from .cue files.
When I opened the .cue files, from the labels of the files it detected, I thought the orginal file that everything was based on was an VCD. Following the steps for VCD in the guide that jimmalenko linked me to, I directed IsoBuster to work on the MPEGAV file, and, to extract, but FILTER only M2F2 mpeg frames.
The result, acording to the guide should have been an .mpeg file I could view through a "software" dvd player emulator (PowerDVD, or the like.) But instead what shows in the folders I had IsoBuster put the extracted (coverted) files are .dat files. What happened?

Try changing the extension from dat to mpg.
