  1. Ok so I rip the VOBs with DVD decrypter and I play them with VLC media player and they look fine. They are kind of weird 4:3 and they look like they are halfway in between fullscreen and widescreen. When I open them in DGIndex it looks widescreen and when I save it as a d2v file the video is more widescreen then it is originally. Have any of you guys ever experienced this? Anybody know how to fix this?

When you play a VOB file on it's own you're pretty much stuffed! It's originally played from a DVD where the IFO file will contain all the information it needs for the player to play it correctly. Don't expect to click a VOB file and it play like it should.

There is nothing wrong with DGIndex, save the d2v file from DGIndex so you can now use 3rd party programs to do what ever it is you want to do with the VOB file.

  3. You might reconsider your thread title. There's nothing wrong with your vobs either before or after DGIndex.
