  1. i'm rather new at encoding...

i have a bunch of divx movies.
i use tmpgenc (v2.02) to encode to mpeg2 using default svcd template. i specify a constant bitrate (using bitrate calc). When i play the encoded movie off my hard drive with powerdvd, it looks perfect. when i burn the svcd using nero, the movie is too wide, therefore, some of the movie off the left and right edges are not seen (this is apparent in intro credits, eg. designe.. nicholas ca.. sean conne.. you get the idea...) I'm not quite sure how to fix this but here are some more details which may help:

one of my source divx movies: 512x224, 29.97fps ntsc.. using tmpgenc with following relevant settings: aspect ratio is 4:3, size is 480x480 (svcd), source aspect ratio is 1:1 vga, video arrange method is Full Screen (keep aspect ratio)

thanks in advance for any help or suggestions...
