I like the idea of scenes being automatically made for me as each of my hi8 tapes have hundreds. I'm testing with the DAC-100 so there's no timestamp and am forced to use the optical detection set on the highest sensitivity.
I've tried Scenalyzer which worked pretty good although it missed a few scenes in a 15 minute span. $39
WMM doesn't make any scenes for me at all although it says it will use the optical detection automatically if no timestamps can be found. Does anyone have a solution?
Anybody know of any freeware that's good for cutting scenes optically?
Thanks for any insight.
