THis was my first attempt in copying a DVD movie.
I burnt a dvd my using DVD shrink. After the encoding was done, i downloaded DVDDECRYPTER . ON that i used the iso mode and started decrypting it, after that i copied DVd to harddrive.Later when i started burning the image to my DVD-R (by using ISo mode) it said "there aren't enough space on the DVD-R to burn"!!
The size of the image happend to be 7078141952 bytes!!
Can anyone please tell me as to where did i go wrong?

What did you do ?
DVDShrink uses either Nero, DVDDecrypter or CopyToDVD to burn. I'm guessing Nero ?
You then copied the DVD to the hard drive using DVDDecrypter. Using ISO Read Mode I presume ?
You then went to burn this image using ISO Write mode ?
I'm sorry, but I can't make sense of what you've done so far. Can you be more specific ?If in doubt, Google it. -
It looks like you haven't compressed the dvd. You first need to compress using dvd shrink to 4.37GB before you can burn to dvd.

I believe the dvd has been compressed, after i had completed encoding it says
Total Size 4463 MB
File save at drive C
My problem is that when i start using DVDdecrypter after that , the DVDdecrypter window only allows one to read/write files from DRIVE D and not C. So when i want to decrypt it, it actually decrypt the UNCOMPRESSED original movie and not the compressed file that i have saved on drive c
Can someone please tell me as to what can be done with that? -
Why are you using DVDDecrypter AFTER DVDShrink outputting for decryption purposes ? It's totally a redundant step. BTW, as you found out, DVDDecrypter can only use optical drives as its source, unless you're in ISO Write mode
DVDShrink has already decrypted it right before it started shrinking do so all you need to do is burn the files shrink output, which you can do automatically from within shrink using DVDDecrypter, Nero or CopyToDVD, or you can output to your hard drive as a VIDEO_TS folder, then use almost any burning software, or you can output to your hard drive as an ISO file, then use almost any burning software.
There's no need whatsoever to feed it back through DVDDecrypter for decryptingIf in doubt, Google it. -
If you are using dvd decrypter to burn (provided the compressed dvd is in ISO), you must select Mode ---> ISO ---> Write
Then select the folder where the compressed dvd is stored on your hard drive and burn to dvd. -
Thanks a lot guys, was totally confused initially and was making mistakes. The problem is now solved and i was finally able to copy my first dvd
