I am wanting to demux a VOB into distinct titles.

Can ffmpegx do this, if so how?

Sorry if there is info on this - counldn't find it!

  2. ffmpegX cannot do this. You could perhaps extract again, title by title.

Have tried to extract title by title, but it still seems to want to demux the whole VOB.

    What does "angle" mean?

Both 0SEx and MTR can extract a single title in muxed form from a DVD.

One of the features of DVD-Video is up to 9 camera angles (different viewpoints can be selected during playback). Most mainstream movies have just one angle, though.

Thanks for the info so far.

Apology - the question I meant to ask is can ffmpegX extract a single chapter? WHen I try to do it, the whole title seems to be demuxed.

    More information:

When I try to demux a single chapter, the progress window takes the process to 100%, but then it goes way beyond 100% - it seems to fail to stop at the end of the particular chapter....

    please help

  7. ffmpegX will demux the whole source file. To demux titles or chapters, you need to extract them as separate files and then demux each file.

    Hi again

Can you tell me how to extract the chapters as seperate files?

  9. You may select the titles/chapters in 0SEx or MTR.
