  1. I was backing up a DVD using DVD Shrink 3.2, DVD Decryptor and NERO to a DVD +RW. I have a NEC DVD +RW ND-6100A burner. It went through the whole process and said it burned the files. I opened up the DVD and there are VOB and IFO files there. (When you look at the underside, it looks like there wasn't much information to the DVD.) It will not play on my DVD player which has been able to play DVD-RW discs. It doesn't play the first chapter on my computer but if I skip forward to the next chapters it will play those. (It doesn't automatically play on my computer.) It burned it first with Decryptor which it said it was successful. It didn't work on my player. I then tried NERO and it said it burned it successfully but still doesn't work. What did I do wrong?

What did you actually do to the movie ?
How did you rip it ? (Mode etc)
Did you reauthor with Shrink ?

  4. I followed the instructions on this link for DVD-9 using DVDShrink https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/141024.php#dvd5. When I started using the Shrink it said there was a "DVDShrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read file "d:\". Data error (cyclic redunancy check.)" After that I decrypted it in the ISO-read mode, using DVDDecryptor to create a file then have DVDShrink analyze it and I reauthored it using DVDShrink. I took only the Main part and one extra. It went through the whole process and said it burned it with DVDDecryptor. I tried to play it and it didn't work. I then burned the file from DVDShrink using Nero. That didn't play either.
