I've recently purchased a Sylvania DVR900E for the purpose of transferring some short films that I've made onto DVD-R. I was hoping to be able to copy the video onto DVD-R and then use that DVD-R to make extra convention/festival copies on my computer using Clone DVD. However, every time I try to copy a disc that was burnt on the stand alone, I get errors.

Is there a simple way for me to copy onto the Sylvania and then use that disc to make extra copies with my computer? I'd like to do this using Clone DVD if possible.

    Thanks.

    why use clone DVD ?

just use explorer and copy the contents from the one dvd to your computer and make as many copies of your own disk as you want -

or use dvd decrypter and make an image ..

or use nero and use copy disk ..

I think hes saying he has video on vhs tapes or something, and he wants to put them on dvd with the dvd recorder, then put it in his computer and make copies. Wouldnt buying a capture card be a better route? I doubt theres a "simple" way of recording on a recorder, if your getting errors then maybe theres something wrong with the unit. Can you take it back? My ilo/liteon has good looking 2hr and 1hr modes, it actually improves the picture quality.
