    i've tried everything to get a dvd copied. my dvd is clean and has no scratches. dvd shrink didnt work so i tried DVD Decrypter. When DVD Decrypter was finished i dragged all the files from the RAR file to the desktop. and i opened dvd shrink to shrink the files, but i get this error: Failed to open VTS_11_2.VOB. when i used DVD Decrypter VTS_11_2 file isnt in there. What do i do?

    He prob. has winrar assc. with .iso's so they will show as a winrar file which you can open and extract the files inside. I have done this before also, but i alway's rip in file mode before opening them with shrink. I only use .iso mode if ot is a straight copy with no shrinking.

    Don't open it and try to extract the files, just open the image with shrink and see what happens. or use DVD Decrypter in file mode and then open in shrink.

    i dont have the img file. it made some MDS file. i tried MagicISO to make an iso but had an error with the ISO. this is the most trouble i have had with copying a dvd.

    when i open the movie with dvd decrypter it says there is a RCE Protection Found. does that suppose to mean anything?

    Ignore RCE. Thats just Region Code Enhancement, DVD Decrypter will remove this for you.

    RCE was designed to prevent playback of region coded dvds on multi-region players (to be precise Region 0 players)

    well DVD decrypter just got done doing whatever it was doing. and now i have a MDS file, and a RAR file with AUDIO_TS, JACKET_P, and VIDEO_TS. and when i double click the RAR file Magic ISO comes up. this file is a huge 7.95 GB file. i know i shrink this file with dvd shrink, but...not really sure how. i never burned something like this before. Please help. THanks

    It shows as a rar file because you have .iso files assc, with winrar.
    & you must have Magic ISO set to open such files.

    Just open the file like this with shrink



    Or you can do what i said earlier, rip the dvd to a temp folder in "file" mode with DVD Decrypter and then open with shrink.
