    Hi everyone.
I have used WinDVR to capture as DVD using my Pixelview PlayTV MPEG2. The image is pretty good (considering I have a weak TV cable), with no sync or dropped frames problems. It is a shame I can't captured interlaced with it. So I'm trying other softwares.
Cyberlink PowerVCR can be tweaked to capture interlaced but I lose lots of frames using it.
    Any other software sugestion?
    TIA.

  2. Mainconcept PVR can capture MPEG2, havent had much experiance with it though...

This could be a problem. If the picture contains grain or other interfereance, this will put more strain on the MPEG2 encoder, causing dropped frames.

I tried Mainconcept once, didn't like it.

Just an update: I've just ordered an ATI TV Wonder USB 2.0
    Maybe I'll use their software.
