I need help!!!! I'm trying to add subtitles to a video file that does not carry subtitles. When I play it with my Divx Player all it shows are the, what I'm guessing, captions in the language the video is in. This is the video file: ed2k:// |file| Full Metal Alchemist -03-.avi. So far I have downloaded these programs in order to help me but I can't seem to get them to work.
    *SRT to SSA converter
    *Virtual Dub 1.6.10
    *Subtool 26
    *TMPGE
    *Subrip 1.30 Beta
    *Subtitle Workshop 251
    *VobSub
    *Divx Player
I have tried to use some of the forums on videohelp but either something is not right in the settings I use or I'm just retarded and don't know what I'm doing. If you do reply with an answer please be as detailed as possible because I won't be able to see or do the obvious thing.
Thank you very much. I just hope your up for the challenge. 8)

All those tools won't help you unless you have some subtitles to use with them. Well with the exception of say Subtitle Workshop which you could use to add your own subs.

I'm sure there would be a fansubbed version available on ed2k.

search Ed2k for that file name with a .srt, .ssa, or .sub file extension. Those are the subs for the file. You just hope they're in your language. Once downloaded, open them in Subtitle Workshop to see.

Never said anything about dubbing. There may or may not be any subs avaible. As said, search and see what you can find.
