  1. I am using dvd shrink and dvd decrypter most of the time I just let shrink do all the work and then let decrypter burn, but its not working in this case I even tried to decrypt it first but still same problem. What it does is stop about 27% through it and says I/o error L-EC Uncorrectable error. Anybody know somthing that I can do to fix this????

Maybe Decrypter and Shrink simply have good taste 8)

Run it through DVDInfo or Kprobe to see if there are any read problems.

When burning with DVD Decrypter, goto settings, choose the I/O tab and check 'ignore read errors', this may fix your problem.

  7. Try installing Anydvd and use in conjuntion with dvd shrink it sounds to me like the new sony encryption thing found new titles.

Weird that I could only rip with my trusty PLEXTOR 708A dvd burner. I got errors with DECRYPTER when using my Toshiba dvdroms, Benq 1620 & Liteon 811 dvd burner. I did notice in the DECRYPTER log there were DUMMIE FILES which it ignored. I guess Columbia/Sony pictures thought they could get away with not allowing consumers to back up their dvds.

  9. Had a similar problem with this movie. Just make sure that you are running the latest DVD Decrypter. Worked for me when I upgraded.

I have the latest DECRYPTER. But another odd thing is after my PLEXTOR 708A was able to rip the disc I tried it again in my dvdroms and other burners and they were able to rip with no error messages. Go figure!
