I am for any info about an Aligent DVD Controller

I purchased a Aligent DVD Controller with the duplicator case, it is a 1 to 7 target and has a host of features. But for the life of me, I can't find a manufacturer site anywhere for it. In the manual it says easily upgradeable firmware...but no idea where to get this update from...lol.
I also got 3 LITE ON LH-20A1 DVD writers for the duplicator...all seems to work great except for one issue:

I would like to be able to have the bit setting changed so that all +R media (only use Verbatim) will be DVD ROM. Now it just puts out copies that are +R setting.

The tech support at LITE ON says that the bit set can't be changed when its in a duplicator, only when its installed in a PC (with special small program from them) and even if I swapped the drives over to the PC and changed the setting, it would revert back when I swithched the drive back again....

Only alternative is to have the duplicator controller sending out the instruction to change this bit set, but since can't find any info on how this is accomplished ( I snooped around on Wytron's site for any morsel of information on how this procedure goes but can't find anything)

Was just wondering if anybody else out there has been able to do what I want to...have the bit set of +R media set to DVD ROM on all copies and also if anybody has info on this Aligent 1 to 7 Controller (mod# P-727L-DVD)

That seems to be the series name of the device, not the manufacturer name. You could try a email to this company as they seem to be the distributor: http://www.amamax.com/aldvducoi.html With the listed models, they do mention 'Life-time technical support' in the description.
