I Have a KVCD image with the bin and cue files, and I was wondering if i could just burn these images to dvd and if i do would it work in my stand alone DVD player (it supports KVCD). And if I can how do I do so with Nero 6 ultra.

  2. Well, it is tough one. You must disassemble the cue/bin image in elementary video and audio streams. Then you must analyse them. What to look for:
video: type (mpeg1 or mpeg2), resolution, framerate.
    audio: sample rate.
To put it on DVD audio must be resampled to 48 kHz (if it is 44.1 kHz)
video - if it is mpeg1 at 23.976 there are good chances it will not work. You can try of course.
You need to reauthor as DVD with authoring software forgiving enough to accept the weird resolutions of KVCD and also mpeg1 in such a resolutions. I don't know if even TDA will take such video files. You can try Gui for dvd author.
About nero - I don't beleive it will take it without reencoding the video.
    So good luck!

I would think that you would have to burn this image to CD if it's an authored KVCD. In Nero you need to go to Recorder > Burn Image, then select the cue file.
    If in doubt, Google it.

You might just need to reencode the audio at 48Khz, and then use DVDPatcher to change (brand) the mpeg stream.
    Give it a shot!
