I have tried a couple of things but they didnt work. Im making different music cds now and wanted to know the trick on making the track name and number instead of just the number show on any cd player or dvd player when its playing??? Is there a particular software that i need to be using????

your burner & playback device (cd player, dvd player, etc) must support cd-text.. nero will burn cd-text.. not every playback device will reat cd-text though.

Whereas adding CD-TEXT is very common amongst CD burning software its often puzzled me why shop bought CDs rarely contain CD-TEXT and CD players (even ones from the last few years) rarely support it either.
U maybe lucky though and have a DVD player that will show the CD-TEXT information either on the player itself or on the TV screen.
Also if you are using Nero make sure you have the CD-TEXT box clicked. -
so why doesnt most cds support this.... who the hell always want to see the track number..... i want to see the name and artist especially if i am listening to a mix cd.
