add some text

i would like to add some text to my sons dvd we made of his birth but im unsure how to do this like...add his name on one part and add for instance the hospital name when that part of the dvd comes up so we can see it as its playing..any one help? programs i may need

or switchable text that you can turn off?

I would of thought something like a Ulead product would do the job?

You might have a problem getting something that can work with an already authored DVD. If you have the original footage any video editing package, including Windows Movie Maker 2, can do it.

For an already authored DVD, you could re-author adding forced subs.
