    instead of spliting a mp3 is it possible so that i can make chapters? like dvd's?

    Try Acoustica's Mixer at www.acoustica.com

    Enter your mp3, insert your tracks (chapters) wherever you want in your mp3, then output to a wave file.
    Burn with Nero and set the pause between chapters/tracks to zero (0).

    The file should play seamlessly and still be able to jump to certain parts in the song.
