  1. I've found that AVI2DVD is pretty simple to convert a divx movie to dvd. Is there a way i can make a dvd of a whole tv series so that there are about 8 or 9 episodes on each disk. With AVI2DVD you can only select one movie to convert and can't change the size output to be small enough to fit them onto one disk.
I may not be able to do this with AVI2DVD but if there is another one that could be useful.

You would have to use and authoring program such as DVD workshop. However, you won't fit 8 or 9 episodes on 1 disc...more like 2 - 4 (normal 45 minute episodes) depending on how much quality you sacrifice.

If you get a player such as the Philips DVP642, you could burn the avi files straight to DVD and play them without any conversion or authoring.

Then use DVDShrink to shrink as much as you want to fit on a DVD (to a point). I usually put 4 or 5 hour long (45 minute) episodes or 8 to 10 half hour long (23 minute) episodes on one DVD and they look great.
