Doesn't pressing auto fit after you load the project get you where you need to be?

Absolutely. But only if I remember. More than once I have found that I forgot. 8)

Then 20 extra minutes of DVDshrink and 4.5GB of extra disk space gets me where I really wanted to be.

Seems strange if you are suggesting that some day the manual will say:

"You can save everything about your project and easily re-run it at a later time, except the Auto Fit setting."

    Anyway, that's my little wish.

Comments from others might be appropriate.

    Cheers, P-PA

    fair point.

I would prefer to apply AutoFit after a project load (automatically) rather than saving the settings for the assets... thoughts?

  5. Having the AutoFit enabled automatically by default would be great , with an option to disable it if you wished. I'd guess that 99% of users normally use AutoFit anyways. & yeah, I've forgotten to click it more than once!

  6. Applying AutoFit after project load seems reasonable to me. I have forgotten to press it a few times as well. Probably it will be neccessary for AutoFit to be applied in this form for the future batch processing option.
