I did it. I made the move. I got a powermac. I coudln't help myself. but now here's a problem. Im a newbie. Any suggestions as to what program i'd use to decrypt/copy a Dvd movie, say, "Gladiator"?? Video quality is my primary concern. I'm not concerned with size, speed etc...I just want as close to the original video quality as I can get.

Any suggestions would be greatly apprecitaed!

    Thanks!

Most people here use MacTheRipper to rip, DVD2OneX to shrink, Toast to burn.

MacTheRipper followed by Popcorn to shrink+burn is also becoming popular. Less options, but slightly less confusing for newbies.

Use my signature link to get to my webpage. It shows you most of the common how to's for mac and lists the apps you would need.
