Hey guys, I used SVCD2DVD in the past and was thouroughly impressed with the product, however, the demo only allows 2GB file size other stipulations. So now, I tried to use SVCD2DVDMPG and I'm trying to back up 2 SVCD"s onto one DVDR. I have my .mpv's, .mpa's and the final .mpg's of all 4 segments. I've tried authoring with TDA, and it says something about the GOP structure being too big, and with DVD Movie Factory, The file size is about 6GB! And yes, I did check the box about the mpeg compliant option. I followed the guides exact. I really wanna try to maintain quality as SVCD2DVD did flawlessly from the original film. What else can I do to successfullly author these? Also, how is the quality using SVCD2DVDMPG

TDA is anal about exceeding a GOP length of 15 frames for PAL and 18 frames for NTSC. It tends to crop up when converting VCDs and SVCDs that haven't been encoded with a max GOP length less than these originally. Unfortunately the only definitive way I know of fixing this issue is to re-encode

... or you could try Womble MPEG-VCR's GOP fixer and see if it can help you. I have used this in the past with VCD MPEGS. YMMV though.
    If in doubt, Google it.
