    I have a matsui dvdr100, and I don’t seem to be able to record via the scart lead, only via the rf input. my satellite box only has a scart output and not a rf output. I only use the satellite box, I don’t use terrestrial TV. can anyone help please

    Are you using a fully wired scart cable? Are you selecting Line In as your source? Is it supposed to be able to do it in the first place? What does the manual say?
