I have been getting a high pitched noise on my dubbed movies w/my iLo DVDRHD04. I posted before and was told that it was likely because of the cable connection running in and out of my unit. I have been recording from the connections on the front of the unit and still get the noise. Any thoughts?

  2. Everyone thats been having these problems have been using the jacks on the front of the unit. Try using the ones on the back.

The noise while using the front inputs is a known issue. Always use the back inputs. If you have more than one source to record from, get a AV switcher from Radio Shack. You can get a 4-way switch for about $20.00 and it works great. I have a laserdisc, VCR and video camera all plugged into the switcher and going to the ILO's rear inputs.
