Hope someone has some insight into this problem. I just got my computer fixed and tried to install DVD Decrypter (3.5.4) onto it. When I place a DVD in my drive and open the program when it gets to "Read book type" the computer freezes and needs to be restarted.
The DVD works when played through WMP10 and also reads in DVD Shrink. However my main concern is why it crashes my computer I have tried numerous DVDs in my computer and all get the same result.
I am running Win XP Pro
1GB Ram
Pentium 4 1.3
I am NOT connected to the internet (I am wondering if that is the problem!!)
I am open to trying any suggestions at this point so who ever has any idea please respond
Thanks, Nyquist

Did it ever work on your computer? If it did, did you changed anything since it last worked?

My computer was out of service for a year (numerous problems resulting in a new motherboard, ram, and power supply) I have a brand new OS (XP Pro) so basically I'm running from a fresh computer with no old files being present.
this would be my first attempt at running this program on this new setup. i did run it before my computer broke (hard drive was reformatted for new OS) so i believe i can call this my first attempt at running it on my computer.
