  1. hi,

I have a small uncompressed avi-video from my camera with 15 fps and I want to show this video as divx on my stand-alone dvd player (PAL).

I have tried to convert this video to an divx with 25 fps using virtualdubmod (I have selected in the menu as follows: video/frame rate/frame rate conversion - convert to 25 fps). After conversion, the "file information" button shows me, that the divx-video has now 25 fps, however, the sound is not syncronized.

Any idea, how I can solve this problem?

Try playing the 15 fps divx in your player. Make sure you have a problem before trying to fix it. Most divx player will play just about any framerate. Just because your player *outputs* PAL doesn't mean that you have to only give it PAL avi's.

  3. thanks for answering,

my stand-alone dvd player (a philips DVP720SA) play the video but the sound is not synchronised with the movie after conversion to 25 fps.
when i play the video on my pc, there is no problem.

I'm saying don't convert it to 25 fps. Why are you converting it, and making audio synch problems for yourself?
