How do you fix the 1 sec black screen when joining 2 movies?

I use DVD Lab Pro to join 6 svcd. I also use Draw Line to connect from movie 1 to movie 2, etc. When I finally finished output the movie. There was a problem.

1) I can't rewind from movie 2 to movie 1
2) There is a 1 sec black screen between the end of movie 1 and begin of movie 2.

Thats one thing i didnt like about dvd-lab in that it doesnt let you scroll through 2 parts that are linked,you will have to join the clips with an editor such as womble or tmpgenc mpeg editor,thats where you can also cut out the black part.

That's because they are different titles, not chapters, not the same movie, titles. Just like the DVD spec says.

If you want to use DVD Lab Pro, then you need to work within it's design schema, which is - prep your assets correctly first. Don't expect DVD Lab/Pro to clean up your mistakes ot laziness.

Having said that, you should explore movie segments in DVD Lab Pro - it may fix your problem. But it is YOUR problem, not DVD Lab's.
