all of a sudden I can only hear audio in SOME divx 50 movies

comp: athlon Xp2800+
S.O.: Windows XP

the problem:
all of a sudden I can't see video but I only hear audio when I play some divx 50 movies. This happens when I use Windows Media Player or VirtualDub.

know that:
-the files are ok (I can see the images with VLC player)
-the codecs seems ok except for (strange):
Arcsoft Mpeg Encode Filter
IYUV Arcsoft Mpeg Writer
InterVideo Video Encoder
Ligos GoMotion Capture Encoder Filter (ArcSoft)
YUY2 Ligos GoMotion DV to MPEG Filter (Version 2.0)
-I can't see important differences with GSpot between the "broken" movies and those which are working.
-I've searched a solution on the web and also in this site FAQs and forums but..


Anyone knows what caused the problem and, better, the solution?? Thanks in advance! : )

Install FFDSHOW or XVID.

thanks Soopafresh! I had both of them already installed but somehow the ffdhow codec got corrupted. I've reinstalled it and now everything works fine!
