  1. I have this as my DVD-Rom and a TDK DVDRW420N burner. I have been having problems with my Lite-On not reading disc's, so i upgraded my firmware from GHR3 to GHR8. That did not solve my problem and now i have a bigger problem as my TDK is now disabled and doesn't even show up under My Computer. I went to Device Manager, and it shows it there, but has an X through it. Under properties it says this device is disabled (code 22), and Windows will not enable it. I have AnyDVD which i use with CloneDVD that i have been doing for a long time. Please someone help me resolve this situation.....Thanks!

  3. Uninstall the IDE channel it's on and reboot. If that doesn't help open the PC and disconnect/reconnect the cables to the drives. Still no luck then you can try a system restore to a time when the drives were working properly.
