  1. i am trying goto vcd/svcd to dvd i am not having any luck i tryed to used vcdgear Bin/Cue -> mpg & , once i get it to mpg i can not put it into anything i tryed to put it TMPGEnc /TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress/TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator/VirtualDub

    can ne1 give me any suggustions plz

    now i tryed to put avi to dvd i cant get a full dvd ,i tryed to dvdsantawhen i used it i got about half the dvd .then i tryed tdo used winavi it made it in to a dvd folder it was 7Gigs and i cant shrink it i cant use dvdsanta
    to get 4.35+ Gigs i need help please


    i tryed looking around the site for help and all of it did not work or i cant figure it out or when i follow the inst. i get so for and i get an error any sugestions.

    SVCD's standard resolution is 480x480 which NOT compatible with DVD. You need to re-encode the 480x480 to 352x480 or 720x480 for it be DVD compatible. Most authoring programs will reject 480x480. VCD is 352x240 which is DVD compatible unless your VCD is in different resolution.

    some dvd players will playback non-standard content, although there are no guarantees. DVD Lab will allow you to import SVCD content, transcode the audio to be compliant, then burn it to dvd. some players will refuse outright, others will play with distortion of the image, and others wont batter an eyelid as they put it up on the screen. yes, it is non-standard and non-compliant, but is can be done pretty easily.
