  1. hey guyz.. is there a way to convert dvd files to avi?
    or is there a way to convert it straight to rmvb?

    Hi jabalum,

    If you haven't got it already, download and install the Panasonic DV Codec (for DV AVI), or other codec(s) of your choice for approriate AVI (i.e. Divx, Xvid etc.)

    Download and install VirtualDubMod.

    1) Load your VOB / MPEG2 files into VirtualDubMod.
    2) Set the compression to your desired codec. Click: Video -> Compression.
    3) Click: Video -> Full Processing Mode
    4) Click: File -> Save as AVI...

    I'm at work and have done that from memory, but it should be close enough.
