  1. I keep getting an error with the latest versions of Rebuilder.

CCE opens and starts to encode then says that the file has changed and the checksums don't match

tried several versions of Rebuilder using CCE 2.50
I don't have the problem with version .67 but I do have the error with all the .8x versions

    Thoughts?

This is a problem with CCE itself caused by certain motherboards which don't flush out the cache fast enough. The error is very rarely an indication of an actual problem with your source, so its best to just disable the checksum checks altogether. There is a patch that does this. Try a google search. If you can't find it PM me and I can send it to you.

EDIT: I see that the latest versions of DVD Rebuilder actually perform their own checksum checks, so maybe this is what you are talking about. Is DVD Reb... giving you the error or CCE? Are you moving the files around at all, or otherwise changing something from the analyzing part to the encoding or authoring stage?

  3. that error always happens to me when using dvd-rb later than "version 80".

    so i'm sticking with v80.

It's CCE error. Only thing running is Rebuilder and CCE
I even disabled my virus scanner

  5. I too have had this problem and I wrote about it in this tread

    http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74258&perpage=20&pagenumber=3

in my tests it seem that it only occures when rebuilder try to encode a video segment that is only 1 frame, the reason seems to be that CCE 2.50 can not handle VBR with only one frame.

jdobbs has been in the discussion but I do not know if he is working on a solution or if you should run the CRC patch to fix it.

    Thanks for the link!!
Think I'll just stick with version .80a (seems to be where the switch was made to VBR)
