What's the best software to use for VHS capturing?

Hey everyone, I'm wondering what is the latest, greatest, or just the best software for capping VHS/VCR to ATI TV Wonder Pro. I'm using the purple adapter cable that came with the card, I think, to connect from the video audio out of the VCR to the purple cable (adapter end), video audio.

The cable has only an S-Video connector on the other end to connect to the TV Card S-Video. I knew a lot a year ago when I was on the forums a good bit - but since I've turned 41 my brain has turned to mush :P

By the way, the only software I could get to work with my ATI TV Wonder Pro was DScaler. Now I'm getting TV channels perfectly. I don't know if DScaler will cap or not, cause I'm brand new to it - but I know there's probably a good software out there for me. So if anyone knows of some...

I know I'm asking for a lot but I do thank you well for any input.
