  1. I have been having a helluva time trying to figure out what's wrong with my subtitles on an old AMD WinXP machine after installing/uninstalling/reinstalling AutoGK several times.

I currently have some DVD rips and am converting them using AutoGK. I noticed that one day my subtitles were not in the rips, so I uninstalled AutoGK and all related apps (AVISynth, VobSub, VirtualDub) and reinstalled the 1.93 stable version.

I never had problems until I installed AutoGK. For kicks, I installed the same version 1.93 on a separate WinXP machine and used the same DVD files. Everything works, so I know its not the source.

How can I start troubleshooting this? AutoGK installs so much stuff, I'm not sure if I got everything. Would a Matroska installation have anything to do with this?

  2. Can no one help me here? I'm completely lost.

The current DVD I'm having trouble with is an episodic one (five 30minute episodes). The first episode rips fine with subtitles. If I try the others separately (i.e. only including certain chapters when ripping from DVD Decryptor), they do not include subtitles, but everything else works fine.

I guess I'll try ripping all firve of them now, but is this typical? First time I've run into it.

  3. Why are you using 1.93? Why not upgrade to 2.07?

Well, what versions of the filters would AutoGK install for matroska playback ? Did you try to use our latest pack from http://packs.matroska.org as a test ?
