Hey, I need some help. I have a problem with VirtualDubMod, it saying when I try to open a .mkv it says (only handle s_text). I load the file into MKVmerge GUI (I'd use that but the subtitles come out all screwed up when I try to extract), and it says they are VOBsubs. The thing is, I have VOBsub installed on my computer and it wont open the .mkv file.

Does anyone know where I can get the plug in to extract VOBSUB subtitles with VirtualDub Mod.

Extract the subs using mkvextractgui instead.

  5. I don't know if this helps or not, as I didn't quite understand your problem. You extracted 2 files right - an IDX and a SUB file? The IDX contains the timestamps and the SUB file contains the image files of the subtitles. It's supposed to be gibberish when opened in something like Notepad. It's not a text file as it would be if you OCR'd to some other format such as SRT or SSA. Together the IDX and SUB files are the VobSubs.
