    I joyfully create my project by inserting my MPEG in the assets and dropping it in the VTS Layout. I give it a Name and a Button Text name. Then, I go to Menu and select my own background and place my menu button were I want. I then save my work. Then, I author my DVD.

    Problem: the menu does not show up in the burned DVD. The movie simply starts right away.

    I can preview the menu in the Menu area in SVCD2DVD and it works but its absent in the final DVD.

    What I’m I doing wrong?

    If you are choosing either 'Quick DVD' or 'Quick DVD and burn' you will not get a menu. You have to click the author button and continue from there, not choose the drop-down options.
