It has been my experience that placing a sticky lable on a burned DVD causes it to be unplayable. Lots of posts about it, just search for lables.

But is not a sticky that I did mean. I am talking about the volume name.

  5. I've not tried, but with a DVDR I'd say a difinitive no. If it were a DVD-RW, then I'd say maybe, haven't tried it.

After a dvdr is burned all you can do to it is put a label on it,print a label on it or eat it,you cant change anything burned within it,you have to rip the dvd back to your hdd and change the volume name before you burn it,

Dvd decryptor can change volume names in an iso file.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

  8. We can but some say we shouldn't.

... that is a sticky label. If you mean the burnt
iso name or the title, then see johns0's advice above.
