    Hi,

    I am capturing from TV with an All in wonder PRO 128 with a Fortissimo 2 sound card. What is the "correct" level for the imput. Halfway? Maximum? Is it dependent on soundcard or is it the same for all?

    There's no absolute value. A good way to test is to use AVIIO (the demo is free), and capture, adjust the audio level for you input (in the recording properties) till the lines at the side stay in the green. Then noise reduce and normalize in Cool edit
