  1. Hi,
When I burn a dvd the edges of the footage seems jagged. When I burn in mpeg 2 then it seems OK!
Why would thin happen as dvd is higher quility, could I be doing something wrong?

    Thanks

    what is your source?
have you tried other standalone dvd encoders like tmpgenc, mainconcept mpeg encoder? all-in-one tools are easy but not the best if you want the best quality.

    Thanks,
What i do not get is that the mpeg2 disk plays Ok only the footage movement seems slugish. The dvd disc movement is 100% but the edges of for example a person is jagged.
I will have to bouble check the settings?

  6. it is digital Sony camcorder via firewire.

When I burn the mpeg2 the footage is better but it doesn't seem to be as smooth as with the dvd(with jagged edges).
I don't know, what do you think!
