  2. Is your card supported by Ulead DVD MF2SE?
Have you tried reinstalling the program?
Do you have any other capture software that may be using the card?

I had the same error msg when I first began capturing with my canopus advc-100. I used Ulead movie maker which was the easiest to learn at the time since I was a newbie to capturing. I got suggestions to use SCENALYZER to use for my capture software and I've never looked back or used Ulead movie maker again. SCENALYZER is great and easy to use.

  6. I would just reinstall the whole thing.
Have you been to the ulead site and got all the updates for Ulead DVDMF2SE?
There's about 4 on the page, solving a few issues.
Maybe this is one of them.

On another note, I wouldn't use Ulead either. Scenalyzer Live is only $39, and a very good app for the price, however your card isnt' supported.
A video capture card that uses DV compression, e.g. OHCI 1394-cards, RT2000, DV200/300/500 or PRO-One (Playback-functionatity currently not supported with Pinnacle Drivers and Canopus DV Storm)
What that all means is, you can't use it.
Try WinDVR, WinVDR, Mainconcept DVR, or any of the other ones in the Tools list, under CAPTURE.

  8. Any capture program you want. Look to the left, the link called "Capture", under "How To".
There's a list of over 30 different programs you can try. Each one allows different quality settings, and bitrate, etc.
    Try WinVDR, VirtualVCR, or whatever.
