I've bought a LG dv-8700h and it plays most of my divx files perfectly but with some files it plays them very shocky and the sound will go out of sync.
I believe that it can't play files properly with a video data rate higher then 125 kbps.
Is there something I can do about this?
There is no firmware out there for LG as far as I know, so it would be great if anyone had a solution.
Thanks

Actually I don't know if it's the Video data rate. just forget i said that.
it's playing shocky and out of sync. any solutions for that?
thanks -
Seems this is a flaw of all DivX players out there, noticed moreso on files with VBR audio.
Not much you can do, you could try reencoding the file with CBR, or just live with it. I've gotten more or less used to this problem with my LVD-2002. As long as it's not over a second out of sync it doesn't bother me too much.
That, plus I'm lazy to reencode...Ethernet (n): something used to catch the etherbunny
