  1. Hi all,

I have been looking through the forum but to no avail and was wondering if someone could help.

I ahve got a few music videos on dvd from mtv and want to take just the songs and put them on a cd to play in my car i.e. rip the music from the video - can this be done and how?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. TMPGEnc + LAME.exe
Load the MPEG into Audio Source and select Settings.

There are many ways to do what you want.
You can try BeSweet. There you can go from VOB to WAV, or VOB to MP3 (if I'm mistaken here, pls, someone corrects me). You can also compress the WAV file as MP3 later with RazorLame (- freeware - a front-end for the LAME codec) using of course, LAME or even RADIUM Codec (a free Fraunhofer). BeSweet may be difficult for newbies, but as soon as you realize how it works, it does a great job. Please note that going VOB to WAV or even MP3 there will always be a LOSS of QUALITY. If you have Sound Forge, you can edit the WAV file, etc...
