I'm making a compilation DVD consisting of 2 SVCD resolution videos and 5 VCD resolution videos and the order I want them to play in is SVCD, VCD (x5), SVCD.

DVD-lab PRO tells me that it's not advisable to put different resolution videos in the same title set, so I've created 3 title sets. The problem is that at the end of the last VCD video (the sixth of the 7) the DVD player just stops and doesn't continue on to play the last SVCD video in the 3rd VTS.

I can select it via the chaper selection menu or by the >>| button and it will play no problem but it won't play it if you just want to hit PLAY and let the thing run from start to finish.

Anyone got any idea what I'm doing wrong?

It sounds more like a problem with the software not including all of the files in the play all list. I've never used that software so I don't know how you would go about checking it.

Thanks for your reply but the issue has now been resolved. I didn't realise this thread was still active at all in fact. Sorry to have wasted your time. Mods could delete this thread entirely or at least lock it if they wish.

    Thanks.

How about telling us how you fixed it? That's a big problem with this forum (most forums, actually): people find solutions, but never post them. This site is littered with countless thousands of questions, that likely got solved, but people never posted the fix. The Internet as a whole has countless millions of them.

  5. Can I recommend you something smurfy?
Put in the rules 'if you find an answer to your own question, please post it so anyone with the same problem can fix it'.
    Just a humble opinion.

  7. Yes...
Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of people that don't really like to read rules...
